Kare Candles - Repositoried

I could've sworn someone already did this. I Googled, I Binged, I typed until my fingers were sore, I read until my poor eyes said "Enough woman! Just do it already!". So I did it. I remapped and repositoried Ella Sims Kare Candles. Just in time too- since a whole slew of recolors was posted at Sims2Palette, (some are shown in the screenshot below!) that would've brought my recolor count to 300ish for the whole set.
These have the same GUID's as the original candles so you can only have one set in your game. This set has been remapped to work with patterns better, although some may be a bit stretched on the very top. Solid colors look the same. :) The MASTER of this set is karecandlesbyellasims. The slaves are the numbered ones- karecandles1byellasims, karecandles2byellasims and karecandles3byellasims. Nothing else was changed. If you want this set, let these replace the originals. You can delete any recolors you have for 1,2 & 3 but be sure to keep the ones you have for karecandlesbyellasims.

Sims Catalog Link!

I just wanted to point out the new link in my link list. Sugah's Place now has lists (with pics) of all the stuff in the EP/SP's. The lists used to be at Thyme 2 Sim, which has been closed for quite a while. Sims Fashion Barn had a catalog- I'm not sure if you can still access that one and I'm not sure it was complete. The only other list I know of is at a site I can't remember and it's not in English. Since I can never remember what came from which EP/SP, this catalog is very good news to me. :) What I really like is that you don't have to look at the full catalog- you can choose which one you want to check from the list I linked to.

"Bond Street" Clock Recolors

I'm working on cluttering a lot. It's working out amazingly well (omg, OMSP's everywhere!!) but I had one little spot on the wall that needed something. So CuriousB's little "Bond Street"clock got recolored a few times. The rooster is the one I wanted, the others are just pictures I liked. (Yes, I have clock faces in my texture folder for some odd reason.) The clock is non-functional, but it's mighty cute if you ask me.

Fireplace Gothique

Roman Valoppi (link removed due to his deleting his LJ) converted the Gothique fireplace from The Sims 3 Store as a decorative object. With his permission, I've made it functional and did some recolors as well. 2 extra slots were added, so there are 5 slots on top of the mantle.

Update: If you'd like to be able to mix & match the fireplace and mantle textures, download the version at Mod The Sims. You can only have one version in your game, this one or that one. My apologies for any inconvenience! (It was the mod's idea and it really does improve this fireplace. The pink/white with the black marble? *sigh* Very pretty.)

A rolling stone gathers no moss..but old walls just might.

While I'm waiting for final approval from the requester, I'm going to sneak this set of recolors in here. Lydiasuzanne requested some mossy overlay meshes. Since there's perfectly good full-wall overlay already I thought that it could be recolored instead of a new mesh being made. Here's the result:

Well, the results of my next-to-non-existent decorating skills at least. There are 8 overlays with different amounts of moss. I used Kativip's ivy along with my recolors to show what can be done. No cheats were needed to place any of the overlays or the ivy. (I did cheat to place other things, lol.)

Well, I WAS working on it!

Sometimes life sucks and throws lemons at you. Some people catch those lemons and make lemonade out of them. Others let those lemons smack them right in the forehead. I happen to be one of those who let the lemons smack me right in the forehead. In fact, I think I might have provided the lemons, lol.
Long story short - I now have a new computer. While this is an awesome thing (I've never, ever had a brand new one!), it's not so awesome that I lost 99% of what was on the other computer.
So I'm starting fresh. While I do have some stuff on my MediaFire, none of it was stuff I was working on. While I do have a CD somewhere with a boat load of textures on it, I still lost a mega boat load of textures that I hadn't burned off. While I do have a CD somewhere with downloads on it, they're all older ones. I am so not looking forward to hunting it all down again! Hopefully everything will be up and running in a couple of days or so. Cross your fingers for me! :)
