Fireplace Gothique

Roman Valoppi (link removed due to his deleting his LJ) converted the Gothique fireplace from The Sims 3 Store as a decorative object. With his permission, I've made it functional and did some recolors as well. 2 extra slots were added, so there are 5 slots on top of the mantle.

Update: If you'd like to be able to mix & match the fireplace and mantle textures, download the version at Mod The Sims. You can only have one version in your game, this one or that one. My apologies for any inconvenience! (It was the mod's idea and it really does improve this fireplace. The pink/white with the black marble? *sigh* Very pretty.)

This is the mesh.

All credit for the mesh goes to Eaxis and Roman Valoppi for the conversion. Since I did have to work a bit of MilkShape/SimPE/PhotoShop  magic on it, I gave it new GUIDs. So you can use both versions in game if you'd like. :) I'm particularly proud of the shadowing on the interior: it's all hand done by me and I think I like it better than the fireplace textures. This can be found in Appliances>Misc for 499. (Numenor's 2-tile, no chimney template was used.) A thanks to Huge Lunatic for teaching me how to move the light- no more fireplace lit up on one side!!
